Hi, my name is Emily, and I’m a newly married, DIY
enthusiast with a weakness for fresh flowers and TOMS Shoes. Some days I’m a perfectionist. Most days I can’t stop smiling. And every day I’m thankful for the love and
support I receive from my family and friends.
I’m in my first year of grad school studying speech-language pathology
and I’m learning something new each day. I don't have all of the answers, but I have a passion for learning. Through exploration, professional growth, and personal reflection, my
hope is that It’s The New Small Talk will be a space to organize SLP
resources - ideas, literature, materials, people, research. I enjoy meeting people who share my passion, and
